On Wednesday evening, April 25th, I was privileged to attend an open house at the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority hosted by Andiamo Italia , Joe Muer Seafood & Gerych's Special Events. It was my first opportunity to tour the Port Authority since its opening in the summer of 2011. I am always looking for unique and stunning venues for my clients, and this location rocks the boat when it comes to downtown event space! Located on Atwater between Cobo Center and The Renaissance Center, the Port Authority boasts two levels of new, wide-open space with spectacular views, private patios, and immediate access to the RiverWalk and warf.
